Atalanta have been one of Italy’s most exciting teams in recent years, but they have yet to see their growth pay off in the form of a major trophy. That could finally end on Wednesday when they contest the final of Coppa Italia. This will be La Dea’s fourth final since they won the competition for the first and only time in 1963, last finishing second to Lazio in 2019. Atalanta had a tough road to the final, beating Cagliari, Lazio and Napoli with the latter an aggregate victory of 3-1 in the semifinals.

Juventus had a slightly easier run than Atalanta on their way to the final, taking on Serie B side SPAL after beating Genoa, but they also had to get past Serie A champions Inter Milan in the two-legged semi-final.
